Every day children at South End earn Value stones for showing our school values. When the children earn Value Stone they are placed in their class pot. Every Monday we gather as a whole school to celebrate our successes towards filling the jar. If the children fill the jar then they earn a reward for the whole school.

Hello and welcome to the website of South End Junior School in Rushden Northants.

It is a real privilege as Headteacher to welcome you here!

I hope this site gives you a flavour of our school and the exciting learning opportunities we provide. Our lives are a journey of discovery; of New experiences and fantastic opportunities; all of which take place at South End Junior.

We strive to inspire children and encourage them to see that everyone is on a learning journey. We want the journey through our school to be motivating, stimulating, encouraging and provoking for every child, parent and member of staff.

To achieve this, the learning environment at South End Junior is an inspirational and exciting place; where children strive to achieve their very best within a supportive and caring community.

It is these children, within this atmosphere, that cause our classrooms to be full of creative ideas and stimulating energies while providing a high expectation for their achievements.

Our Aim

Our aim is for children to become responsible, confident and creative members of a global society; who can apply their experiences at South End Junior to all their future learning.

As children move on and end their journey with us they will have skills for life and memories that will last forever.

Southend Junior is an extremely friendly school and we welcome visits for you to see the school in action.
